FINISH, please…
Please accept my apologies in advance for any lack of grace… but my heart grieves on this subject; Men – we are not good finishers!
I read a quote today, “An absent father leads a daughter to early promiscuity”. OUCH! But the statistics support its truth. I’m begging you guys, don’t divorce. Work it out, turn you marriage over to God. Ask for help. Seek counseling. In other words, do everything you possibly can and then some more to keep you marriage together. Little boys and girls are receiving the negative consequences of mom’s and dad’s who are selfish! Ya, you heard me correctly- SELFISH!
If you’ve got a problem with that, call me… please. PastorGeorge@BearCreekChurch.com

I couldn’t agree more… not trying to agree with men being selfish- because we all can be selfish, but I agree with that quote. So sad, so true.
Way to uphold the truth Pastor George!
It breaks my heart that so many young boys and girls grow up and turn to so many things to try to fill the void that their parents created. Pray that they might know the only One who can truly satisfy no matter what.
Love, in Christ,
David
Thank you. I don’t know of anyone in my personal circle who hasn’t been affected by divorce. 2 of my brothers and my sister have gone through divorce and on the outside, it would appear that my nieces and nephews are quite normal, however I believe once it (divorce) happened, their whole view of life changed forever. I still sense scar tissue on the lives of people I know personally. It doesn’t go away. It was once 1 that was ripped apart. How can there not be emotional scar tissue?
